Kate Dahl is a job coach and consultant living in Denmark and is originally from the United States. She moved to Denmark a few years back and has become a job consultant for people looking for a new opportunity. Kate recently started using SuperSaaS to schedule in her appointments, so we decided to check in how SuperSaaS was helping her increase productivity and revenue.
How did you first come to know about SuperSaaS?
I came into contact with SuperSaaS for one of my fitness classes. I was an end–user at the time and used SuperSaaS to schedule classes online. Now I use SuperSaaS to schedule in sessions for my job consultancy appointments.
What do you do?
I registered my business on March 1st, before that it was more of an idea. I help expats find a job in Denmark by doing job search analysis and help with writing resumes and cover letters. I make sure that people have the right tools to integrate into the Danish job market. Denmark is very different when it comes to finding a job than the United States, where I am from. So I teach job search activities to people. I help people on how to communicate value to companies to land a job, how to network, how to make LinkedIn content and stay active.
How has SuperSaaS helped you so with your business so far?
Since I started using the SuperSaaS online scheduling system, my productivity has increased significantly. I can’t say by what percentage but it surely saves a lot of time. Before, I was doing everything manually and the appointment needed to follow a process starting from making a contract followed by an e–signature and then transfer of money. It took a lot of time and effort for me to do all of it. Ever since I started using SuperSaaS, I have been freed up from all of those time–consuming tasks. Now, my clients just need to visit my website, select the date and schedule an appointment. SuperSaaS takes care of everything and saves hours of my time.
Why did you want to work as a job coach
I started as a job coach because I have always found it interesting how properly writing resumes, cover letters or doing an interview are so connected to the culture of the country you are living in. This is why I believe that it can be so beneficial for expats to receive coaching for applying to jobs in an international or intercultural market.
How have things been going recently?
Now, things have definitely changed since the Corona outbreak in March. My business really started to take off and the online calendar integrated on my website really started to fill out. Of course, before I met with people face to face, which is not a possibility at the moment. Schools, universities and institutions are pushing appointments weeks, if not months into the future.
Now, I am working from home. Which, as an entrepreneur requires a lot of commitment and discipline. I have been a very structured person ever since I started out in sales. In sales, I used a CRM platform to keep all my customer information at hand. SuperSaaS does the same for me now and I can access So, I make sure to schedule in everything. SuperSaaS takes away having to schedule in all my appointments manually, which makes it a lot easier to keep a structured professional lifestyle.
What are you doing differently now?
I have changed my strategy to deal with this situation and started doing more networking sessions, webinars and trying to connect with my clients. I am more concentrating on webinars, writing emails and focusing on content since content is the best way to keep your audience engaged.
I use SuperSaaS to schedule in my online appointments and webinars. My clients can just make an appointment for a video call, just as they would with a face to face appointment. In the future, I might want to use the Zoom integration. Then I can send clients a Zoom link with the notification feature.
Although things have slowed down, for the time being, SuperSaaS still saves me an hour a client, so that can really add up quickly and SuperSaaS is a great tool to help me make the switch to online appointments.
I really like the integrations SuperSaaS offers with Zoom, Google Calendar, and Facebook. I use Google Calendar a lot in my routine, when I got the webhook, it was integrated easily and fast. Now, the appointments clients make get imported to my Google Calendar automatically. I use SuperSaaS with my webinars now and it saves me the money I was spending on other tools. I promote a lot through Facebook groups and pages, where I can easily add a call–to–action button linking to my calendar.
